The best nightclub in Cartagena right now is Mister Babilla (Avenida Arsenal No 8B-137). Great music and good times all night. On the same street are various other bars and clubs and it's a great place to go bar/club hopping if you are staying in Getsmani/Walled City area. It's only a short ride from Bocagrande. Just tell the cab driver Mister Babilla or Arsenal.
I also went to Cafe Havana in Getsmani (Corner of Media Luna and Guerrero). This is the same place that Hillary Clinton was spotted drinking beers and dancing during the Summit of the Americas. The salsa band was real good and it's definitely worth checking out. We paid 10,000 pesos ($5USD) each for cover. They might have overcharged us cause we were tourists but they weren't budging on the price. The drinks are a little pricey for Getsemani but it's still a good time.
Also check out Bazurto Social Club in Getsemani (Av del Centenario, Cra 9 No. 30-42). A cool looking afro-based restuarant that plays live music (reggae, salsa, etc) at night. A different vibe from the dance clubs in Cartagena and it has a lot of personality. Definitely check it out for dinner or dancing.
All tourists should check out Cafe Del Mar (By Plaza Santo Domingo in the historic district). A cool open-air bar overlooking the ocean. A DJ plays trendy music and it's a great place to start your night. A little pricey unfortunately.
That's all I have. I know they might not be the most original selections but I was only in Cartagena for a few days. If anyone has any more suggestions, please share.

There are lots of good nightclubs in Cartagena. Maybe that's why this city is popular when it comes to night life. I also went to Cafe Havana... good service, cool band, etc. The price is a little expensive but it's totally worth it.
I really love Cartagena. Wish I could visit the place again soon. Raw Travel will be featuring this city and other awesome places in Colombia this week on TV (Preview on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zsEYEJnkbH0 ). For sure, they'll also be featuring the best night clubs in Cartagena.:) Can't wait. :)
